I am located in the heart of the central flyway as I live in Kearney, Nebraska. Living in this thriving waterfowl area gives me the opportunity to fulfill my constant passion for waterfowl hunting. Being employed at Cabela’s for the past four years, I was able to stay current on all new innovations of calls and decoys. I also enjoy sharing this information with other passionate outdoorsmen. I feel this dedication to the outdoors stems from my early childhood as my father, David Pohl, has been a Primos pro-staff member for fifteen years. In the last Nebraska State Goose Calling Contest, I placed fourth in the open class and second place in the two-man. This was also the first time I had blown in an individual contest so I look forward to more state contests in the future. Over the past four years, I decided to further my knowledge of the outdoors and received my bachelor’s degree in Park and Recreation Management. Last December I got married to my lovely wife named Sandy, who has been very understanding when it comes to those 4 a.m. mornings. During my free time, I enjoy preparing my eight month old yellow lab for the upcoming hunting seasons.
