Mark grew up in North Western Kansas, where he learned to love the outdoors.  At an early age his father introduced him to upland game, mule deer, and turkey hunting on their family farm.  When visiting family around the Cheyenne Bottoms area in Kansas, he was invited on his first duck and goose hunt.  It was the hunt that started it all. 

After graduating from college Mark moved to Kansas City where he met Casey Self. Casey spent time teaching Mark the fundamentals of duck and goose hunting.  This is where his waterfowl addiction began

Mark currently lives in Omaha Nebraska with his wife Karen and there two son’s Ryan and Nathan.  He enjoys spending as much time as possible waterfowl hunting with friends and family. He looks forward to passing on his passion of the outdoors to his sons in the future. You will find Mark in a layout boat or layout blind chasing ducks and geese throughout the Midwest states.
